It’s the first game in the five-game season series between the long-time rivals.

It’s the second and final regular season game between the teams- the Maple Leafs won the first 5-4 in Port Hawkesbury in September.
The Antigonish Bulldogs host the Cumberland Co. Blues at the Antigonish Arena.
The Bulldogs (4-2-0), winners of four of their last five, are tied with the Pirates for second in the six-team Sid Rowe Division with eight points, a point behind the Miners for top spot, and three points ahead of fourth-place Eskasoni; the winless Blues (0-7-0) are last.
The teams have yet to meet in the 2019-20 season.

The first edition of the Battle of Nova Scotia of the 2019-20 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League season takes place in Sydney.
The Screaming Eagles (8-3-0), who have won back-to-back games, are tied with Quebec and Rimouski for second in the 10-team Eastern Conference with 16 points, a point behind Charlottetown for top spot, and two points ahead of the Mooseheads (7-4-0), who have won five straight and seven of their last eight, and are tied with Moncton for fifth.
It’s the first of nine regular season games between the provincial rivals.
Puck drop at Centre 200 is 7 p.m.
It’s the first half of a home-and-home series; the teams meet again in Halifax Saturday night.
