The two Quad Counties ridings have been decided.
Incumbent Liberal MP Sean Fraser took an early lead in Central Nova, he finished with 46 per cent.
He was declared winner early in the night.
He beat runner-up Conservative George Canyon, who took 29 per cent.
Third was NDP Betsy MacDonald with 13 per cent, and fourth, with 7 per cent, Barry Randle for the Greens.
In Cape Breton-Canso the race was tighter; Liberal Mike Kelloway was declared the winner there, he won 38 per cent.
Alfie MacLeod was a close second with 34 per cent.
They were followed by NDP Laurie Suitor, who took 14 per cent, and then Green Clive Doucet with 7 per cent of the vote.
