A pair of soccer players are the latest StFX athletes of the week.
Tane Caubo, a forward with the X-Men soccer team, is the male winner; he scored StFX’s first goal in Sunday’s 2-0 home win against Memorial, and was named player of the game.
Amanda Smith, an X-Women forward, earned the female award after she scored three goals in two weekend game; she had two goals- including the game-winner- and was named player of the game in Friday night’s 3-2 road win against Cape Breton.
Smith scored StFX’s first goal in Sunday’s 2-2 home tie against Memorial.
