Members of the Cape Breton Partnership and NextGen Cape Breton-Unama’ki have presented their annual Vital Excellence awards.
The awards recognize people between 16 and 40 who’ve made significant contributions or impacts to their community, school or workplace; the ceremony took place at Centre 200 in Sydney Nov. 8.
There were three local winners- Dr. Kristen Sutherland from Inverness Chiropractic, the Gaelic College’s Margie Beaton, and Rodney and Grace Thibeau of Thibeau Properties received excellence awards for individuals.
The Thibeaus also won the 2019 People’s Choice award.
