Paqtnkek Mi’kmaw Nation has re-elected their Chief.
Incumbent Chief PJ Prosper defeated challenger Gerard Julian in yesterday’s Band Council election.
The community also re-elected all five serving Councillors: Judy Bernard-Julian, Tma Francis, Kerry Prosper, Darlene Prosper, and Anne-Marie Paul.
Newcomer Jeremy Paul took the sixth seat.
