Cape Breton-Canso’s new MP says Justin Trudeau has chosen a very deep team.
Liberal Mike Kelloway was sworn in as MP Wednesday.
Kelloway tells The Hawk he thinks Justin Trudeau made very strong choices for cabinet.
“[Many of the] people in those positions I’ve met recently, and I can say that they’re very, very, strong, committed people with a tremendous amount of background and tremendous amount of prior experience,” he says. “I think overall the picks were thoughtful, were strategic, and I think they’re going to prove to be solid picks moving forward.”
Kelloway says he didn’t expect a cabinet position, and says he’ll work hard for the people of Cape Breton-Canso wherever the Prime Minster puts him.
