A man from Antigonish Co. charged in relation to a crash that left a woman with serious injuries has had his case adjourned.
RCMP say the four-vehicle crash happened on Hwy. 7 in Preston at roughly 5:20 p.m. Saturday.
They say a car veered into oncoming traffic, struck another car, then hit two SUVs.
Police say a passenger in the first car, a 36-year-old woman from Truro, was taken to hospital with serious injuries; five others were checked at the scene and released.
Morris James Lanceleve, 35, faces two impaired driving-related counts and seven breaches; his case opened in Dartmouth Provincial Court Monday.
It was adjourned until Dec. 16.
RCMP say more charges are pending.
