Gas price rises for third week in a row

The price of gas climbed 1.9 cents at midnight, which means the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.16 on the low end, and $1.19 on the high end.

There have been increases for three weeks in a row, and four increases in the last five weeks.

Diesel rose as much as 1.1 cents a litre; the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.25 and a maximum of $1.28.
