There are three closures at a local ER on the weekend, and an overnight closure at a different emergency room the following week.
The St. Anne Centre Emergency Room, in Arichat, is closed from 7 a.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday.
It’ll close again overnight Saturday and Sunday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The Victoria County Memorial Hospital ER, in Baddeck, is closing overnight Tuesday.
It will be closed from 6 p.m. until 8 a.m.
The closures are due to a lack of physician and RN coverage.
