Whycocomagh cocaine bust suspect scheduled to return to court in February

A man charged in a drug bust in Inverness Co. has had his case adjourned.

Police say officers stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 105 in Whycocomagh in April.

They say they searched the vehicle and found cocaine.

Michael Warren Ryan, 27, of Port Hawkesbury has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Ryan, whose case opened in July, was expected for election-and-plea in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Monday; instead, the hearing was adjourned until Feb. 24.

It was also adjourned in August and November.
