Cake with marijuana served at school event in Cape Breton

RCMP in Cape Breton say they are investigating an event with food that was held at a school in Eskasoni.

Police say on Friday at the event a molasses cake was served and they believe the cake contained marijuana.

They say a number of adults and children had to seek medical attention after feeling ill.

Of the several individuals who went to the hospital, some tested positive for THC.

Police are asking anyone who became ill to contact them.
