Officials with the Nova Scotia Health Authority have announced more ER closures at Baddeck’s hospital.
The emergency room at the Victoria Co. Memorial Hospital will be closed from 6 p.m. Saturday until 8 a.m. Sunday.
It will also shut down from 6 p.m. Sunday to 8 a.m. Monday, as well as from 6 p.m. Thursday until 8 a.m. Friday.
Health authority officials say the reason for the closures is lack of physician coverage.
You’re asked to go to another ER or call 911 with a medical emergency; you can call 811 for any non-urgent issues.
