Beaver Meadow’s Ryan MacLellan had an assist for Moncton; Pleasant Valley’s Jacob Hudson and Antigonish’s Sean Stewart were also in the Wildcats’ line-up.
The Mooseheads (18-31-4), who have lost nine straight and 11 of the last 12, are ninth in the 10-team Eastern Conference with 40 points, seven points behind Quebec for eighth, and 13 points ahead of last-place Acadie-Bathurst.
Moncton has won the first six games in the nine-game season series between the Maritimes Division rivals.
