A man from Antigonish Co. arrested in relation to a crash that left a woman with serious injuries is scheduled to return to court Friday.
RCMP say the four-vehicle crash happened on Hwy. 7 in Preston in November.
They say a car veered into oncoming traffic, struck another car, then hit two SUVs.
Police say a passenger in the first car, a 36-year-old woman from Truro, was taken to hospital with serious injuries; five others were checked at the scene and released.
They charged Morris James Lanceleve, 36, with multiple offences, including two impaired driving-related counts and several breaches; his case opened shortly after his arrest.
Lanceleve entered guilty pleas during an election-and-plea hearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court in February; he’s expected back in court for sentencing.
