Pump prices have taken a significant drop for the second time in three days.
The price of gas fell 6.2 cents a litre at midnight, which means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of 90.3 cents and a maximum of 93.3 cents.
Diesel decreased 1.3 cents; the new range is between 91.6 on the low end and 94.6 cents on the high end.
Members of the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board invoked their interrupter clause to lower gas prices 10.5 cents a litre- ahead of the regular price adjustment- due to significant shifts in market prices Wednesday.
The price of gas has dropped 16.7 cents in the last three days; diesel is down a total of 11.6 cents in that span.
