Province to use fuel price interrupter Tuesday

The provincial fuel regulator will be invoking its gas price interrupter Tuesday at 12:01 a.m.

Sources are predicting a drop of more than 9 cents at the pumps.

The move comes after tumbling oil prices spurred on by rising COVID-19 concerns and a price war between Saudi Arabia and Russia.

This will be the 14th time the interrupter has been invoked since the NSUARB began regulating fuel prices and the second time in a week.

The price of fuel changes here at midnight.
