No one hurt in early morning fire

No injuries have been reported following a fire in Antigonish that temporarily displaced half a dozen people.

Firefighters responded to an apartment fire in a 12-unit, three-story building on Arbor Drive Extension around 1 a.m.

A release from the Canadian Red Cross says fire damaged one apartment, and others suffered smoke or water damage.

They say they’re supporting two adults displaced from one apartment and are standing by to offer additional help to other tenants.
