A man from Dartmouth facing seven charges in relation to an assault in Mulgrave has been released from custody.
RCMP say officers responded to a home on Middle St. in the town after the victim suffered moderate injuries in April.
Brandon Joseph Lawrence, 27, has been charged with assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, resisting arrest and a pair of breaches.
Lawrence, who had been in custody since his arrest, had a bail hearing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Tuesday; he was released on 15 conditions, and is scheduled to return to court to set a date for his trial June 29.
