CBU fall semester moves to online delivery

The 2020 fall semester at Cape Breton University will be much different.

Officials at the Sydney-based university say the upcoming semester will be completely online.

They say it’s important to make the decision now so they can provide time to adapt their operations.

University reps say it wasn’t an easy decision, but it was made in the best interest of the safety of members of their campus community.

They say they’ll spend the next three months preparing for the new delivery model, while they continue to work closely with their provincial health counterparts.

CBU officials say they’ll re-open campus facilities when they’re directed to do so.
