7pm July 3 – Liam Brophy

LeeBoy, is a singer/songwriter from Antigonish County, Nova Scotia. With help from award-winning multi-instrumentalist and album producer, JP Cormier, LeeBoy created “Better Man Blues” and it hit all the right notes.

“I play a mix of blues, bluegrass, folk, rock and I love when people are able to relate to the stories the songs tell.”

LeeBoys only album received a nomination for Music Nova Scotia’s 2012 Blues Recording of the year, and ECMAs Blues recording of the year. This allowed him to travel across North America and share the stage with artists such as The Daughter of the Blues Shirley King, award winning singer/songwriter Dave Gunning, award winning multi-insturmentalist JP Cormier, fellow Nova Scotia blues man Charlie A’Court, Chuck Brodsky and Juno alumnus John Campbelljohn.
