Price of gas falls slightly

Pump prices have dropped for the first time in eight weeks.

The price of gas fell less than a cent- as much as 0.9 cents at midnight; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of 92.1 cents and a maximum of 95.1 cents.

We had gone seven straight weeks without a decrease.

Diesel went the other way, climbing as much as 2.2 cents a litre; the new range is between 86.5 cents on the low end and 89.5 cents on the high end.
