A man from Eskasoni faces threats and firearms charges after an incident in the community.
Police say someone drove up to a group of people on a road, threatened them, yelled at them and pointed a firearm at roughly 3:15 a.m. Saturday.
They say the man drove a short distance, left his vehicle, and ran off into the woods.
RCMP say he was arrested at a home, and officers seized an unloaded firearm from his vehicle.
Victor Joseph Herney, 26, has been charged with a total of 20 counts; he’s scheduled to appear in Sydney Provincial Court Monday.
