A man from Dartmouth facing seven charges in relation to an assault in Mulgrave is expected back in court Monday.
RCMP say officers responded to a home on Middle St. in the town after the victim suffered moderate injuries in April.
Brandon Jordan Lawrence, 27, has been charged with two counts of assault, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, resisting arrest and a pair of breaches.
Lawrence, who was released from custody on 15 conditions following a bail hearing, was scheduled to return to court to set a date for his trial Thursday; instead, the hearing was adjourned until Monday.
