The hunt for Tobias Doucette is finally over.
At 1:19 Sunday morning, Nova Scotia RCMP tweeted that he had been taken into custody without incident.
Police say they converged on a wooded area at Conquer-all Mills Rd. and Hwy #3 yesterday evening after a report came in that he had been sighted.
They say Doucette has been on the run since July 20 when he assaulted his partner and stabbed a BPS officer in the neck.
Police say he also stabbed a dog the following day when they tried to apprehend him.
We will release more information as it becomes available.
