A man facing abduction charges, following a weeklong manhunt, has had his case adjourned.
Police say 47-year-old Darcy Doyle, from Mira Gut, took a 14-year-old girl from Eskasoni First Nation on Aug 13.
RCMP say Doyle remained on the run with the girl until early Saturday morning.
He was in Sydney Provincial Court on an Abduction of a Person Under the Age of 16 count Wednesday.
Doyle was remanded back into custody and will appear again next Wednesday.
