Teen charged in sex assault investigation

A 19-year-old faces 13 charges in relation to an Inverness Co. sexual assault investigation.

RCMP say Hunter James Smith of Sugar Camp faces three counts each of sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching, as well as two charges each of luring a child and indecent acts-exposure.

They say two victims have been identified, but there may be more, and they want them to come forward.

Smith, who was released on conditions Oct. 6, is expected back in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Oct. 26.
