From Halifax Monday:
Four local athletes earned spots on the podium.
Siona Chisholm (Dr. J.H. Gillis) finished first in the senior girls 6k race in a time of 21:08, her second provincial title in as many years; Mairin Canning (Dr. J.H. Gillis) was second with a time of 22:34.
Anna Robinson (Dr. J.H. Gillis) placed second in the intermediate girls 5k race with a time of 19:38, one second behind the winner.
Tariq Jad (SAJS) won silver in the junior boys 4k event in a time of 14:46, two seconds behind the winner.
