Inverness man dies in Victoria Co. crash

Police say a man from Inverness is dead following a two-vehicle collision, which shut down a section of Hwy. 105.

RCMP say it happened in South Haven, Victoria Co. at roughly 8 a.m. Monday.

They say officers found a pickup truck and a car with heavy damage to their front ends.

A 65-year-old, the driver and only person in the car, died at the scene. The two men in the pickup truck were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

Police say there were heavy rain, high winds, and significant water on the road at the time of the accident.

The highway was closed until after 3 p.m.
