The Strait Pirates game has been postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions in our neighbouring province.
The Pirates were scheduled to take on the Cumberland County Blues in their regular Friday night home game at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League.
Adam Rodgers, the team’s president, says close to half of the Blues live in New Brunswick; the Moncton region has been placed back into that province’s orange level of pandemic recovery.
Rodgers says that means players from the Moncton area are prevented from travelling to play.
