More than $1 million is going into marine infrastructure in Baddeck.
Officials with Develop Nova Scotia, ACOA, Victoria Co. and the Village of Baddeck recently announced close to $1.2 million for repairs to the community’s wharf.
They say the work will extend the wharf’s working life by 25 years.
Develop Nova Scotia officials will build new floating docks, which they’ll own, as well as gangways and attachments; village officials will manage and maintain the docks.
