23-year-old man dead in Antigonish Co. crash

A 23-year-old man from Antigonish is dead after a crash on Hwy. 4

RCMP, fire departments and EHS responded to the East Havre Boucher crash at 3:46 a.m. on Sunday.

Police say a pickup truck went off the roadway and incurred extensive damage.

The Antigonish man was ejected from the vehicle and was located a short distance away

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

EHS transported an adult male passenger to hospital with undetermined injuries.

A collision re-constructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Hwy. 4 remains closed in both directions and is expected to remain so until later Sunday afternoon.
