The Department of Health and Wellness is reporting eight new cases of COVID-19, three of which are in university students.
There are two travel related cases in Eastern Zone which are both in students, one each at Saint Francis Xavier University in Antigonish and Cape Breton University in Sydney.
There are three in Northern Zone, and they are all in close contacts of previously reported cases.
There are three new cases in Central Zone as well. They are all travel related, and one is in a Saint Mary’s University student in Halifax.
There are now 30 active cases in the province.
