The Keystone XL pipeline is likely to be scrapped after Joe Biden becomes US President on Wednesday.

There are reports that is one of a number of items on a list of executive orders he’ll sign on day one after taking office.

While environmental groups applaud the move, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney is calling on the President-elect to reconsider, adding the federal government is concerned as well.

Other measures on Biden’s first day, back to the Paris climate agreement, removing the Muslim ban and implementing mandatory masks against COVID-19.
