Hwy. 104 crash kills young Pictou Co. man

A 20-year-old is dead after a crash in Marshy Hope.

Antigonish and Pictou RCMP were called to a two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 104 Friday afternoon.

Police, Fire and EHS attended the scene and found a car on the roadway and pickup truck towing a trailer in the ditch.

RCMP say the 20-year-old driver was ejected from the car and was located a short distance from the vehicle on the roadway.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

They say three men in the pickup truck were not injured.

A collision re-constructionist was on scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Hwy. 104 was closed in both directions and was re-opened late last night.
