The Battle of the Quad Counties resumes in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League.
The Strait Pirates host the Antigonish Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs (9-0-1), who have yet to lose in regulation in 10 regular season games, are in top spot in the five-team Sid Rowe Division with 19 points, a point up on the second-place Miners; the Pirates (3-5-0), who lost their only game since they resumed play 8-6 to the Miners in Membertou Saturday, are tied with Pictou Co. for fourth with six points, a point back of Eskasoni for third.
The long-time rivals have met once so far; Antigonish won 5-2 at home in November.
Puck drop at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre is 7:30 p.m.
Antigonish’s Adam Tkacz and the Halifax Mooseheads visit River Denys’ Colten Ellis, Antigonish’s Sean Stewart and the Charlottetown Islanders in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
The Mooseheads (8-12-5), losers of three straight games and five of their last six, are second in the six-team Maritimes Division with 21 points, 15 points behind the Islanders (18-4-0) for top spot, and a point ahead of Cape Breton and Acadie-Bathurst, who are tied for third.
Charlottetown leads the season series 7-2 after a 7-0 win at home Wednesday night.
