The Battle of Nova Scotia resumes in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Inverness’s James Beaton and the Cape Breton Eagles host the Halifax Mooseheads.

The Eagles (11-13-0), with one win in their last three, and the Mooseheads (8-13-6), losers of five straight, are tied for second in the six-team Maritimes Division with 22 points, 18 points behind Charlottetown for top spot, and two points ahead of fourth-place Acadie-Bathurst.

Cape Breton has a slight 5-4 edge through the first nine games of the season series after a 4-3 win in Halifax Sunday afternoon.

Puck drop at Centre 200 in Sydney is 7 p.m.

The provincial rivals square off again in Sydney Friday night.
