Clocks ‘spring forward’ this weekend!
Daylight saving time is followed in 9 out of 10 Provinces and in 2 of the 3 Territories.
There are exceptions – most of Saskatchewan observes year-round Central Standard Time. Yukon is on Mountain Standard Time all year.
There are also some communities in BC, Ontario & Quebec that ignore the 2/yearly time changes. In fact, government there is moving towards getting rid of the time change but want to be in step with neighboring states/provinces.
Changes are made at the provincial or territorial level.
