The Novas (10-10-1), winners of five straight, are tied with the South Shore for fifth in the 12-team league with 21 points, five points behind the Rangers for fourth, and a point ahead of Dartmouth and Halifax, who are tied for seventh.
The Novas have won the first two games in the season series; they play their second game in as many days when they visit Dartmouth Monday night.
