It’s a match-up of teams at the bottom of the six-team Maritimes Division in terms of points percentage; the Mooseheads (11-15-7), who have lost back-to-back games and three of their last four, are fifth, behind Moncton for fourth, and ahead of the last-place Eagles (12-20-1), losers of four of their last five.
Halifax has a slight 7-6 edge in the season series between the provincial rivals.
Puck drop at Centre 200 in Sydney is 7 p.m.
