Eagles game cancelled due to players’ flu-like symptoms

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game between Cape Breton and Charlottetown had to be cancelled.

League officials say a few Eagles players had flu-like symptoms before Sunday’s game against the Islanders in Charlottetown.

They say the game was cancelled as a precaution.

Officials say all Cape Breton players will be tested for COVID-19 and put in preventative isolation before they can return to regular team activities.
