Voting underway for Antigonish PC candidate

Antigonish Tories are choosing their candidate for the next provincial election.

Voting opened to the riding’s PC members May 27, polls close May 29.

Four candidates are vying for the nomination: Garrett Juurlink, Mike MacEachern, Richelle MacLaughlin, and Michelle Thompson.

Randy Delorey, incumbent MLA for Antigonish, will represent the Liberals and the riding’s NDP members acclaimed Moraig MacGillivray earlier this month.

Premier Iain Rankin must drop the writ by spring 2022 and riding associations across the province are naming candidates for the contest.
