Voting underway for Guysborough-Tracadie PC candidate

Guysborough-Tracadie Tories are picking their candidate.

Voting opened to the riding’s PC members Thursday, polls close Saturday at 6 p.m.

Four candidates have put their names forward.

John Garth MacDonald, Greg Morrow, Darren Parsons and Marcus Wilmott

Incumbent MLA Lloyd Hines will represent the Guysborough-Tracadie Liberals.

Premier Iain Rankin must call an election by spring 2022 and though the writ has yet to drop, riding associations across the province are naming candidates and ramping up for the contest.
