Not more than a passing visit from Claudette predicted

The third hurricane of the 2021 season is set to pass nearby.

The Canadian Hurricane Centre says they continue to monitor Hurricane Claudette and, while it may regain tropical storm strength before coming to the Maritimes, they don’t expect any major impacts.

Forecasters are estimating little more than some wind and rain from the storm, starting Monday afternoon into early Wednesday morning.
