Hearing adjourned for suspect in case involving children

A Wagmatcook man charged in a case involving three children has had his hearing adjourned.

Kadnii Blaise Johnson, 33, faces a total of 13 counts in relation to incidents between Dec. 2019 and up to and including April 2020.

Charges include corrupting children, corrupting morals, permitting sexual activity and making sexually explicit material available to a child.

Police say they searched a Wagmatcook home and laid charges in relation to three minors in April 2020.

Johnson was expected for election-and-plea in Wagmatcook Provincial Court July 7; instead, the hearing was adjourned until Aug. 4.

It was also adjourned in June.
