A new child care centre is coming to the Quad Counties.
Lloyd Hines, MLA for Guysborough-Tracadie, announced construction would begin shortly on a centre in Guysborough with 20 spaces for infants and toddlers
Hines says the project will cost $500,000.
Minister Hines said community support helped push the project ahead…especially the Guysborough and Area Child Care Association and the Municipality of the District of Guysborough.
The new child care agreement reduces child care fees by 50 per cent next year, and it drops fees to $10 a day by 2026.
The centre will be located in the school and will serve Guysborough and area families.
