Police looking for info after New Glasgow fire

New Glasgow Regional Police are looking for the public’s help after a home was heavily damaged by fire Tuesday.

Police say officers on patrol spotted the fire Tuesday around 2:20 a.m. in a vacant building on Main Street in Trenton.

Officer closed the street from High Street to Forge Street in both directions for over five hours.

New Glasgow Regional Police, Trenton Fire Department, Stellarton Fire Department, New Glasgow Fire Department, Abercrombie Fire Department and Pictou Landing Fire Department Emergency Health Services attended.

New Glasgow Regional Police Major Crime Unit and Office of the Fire Marshal are investigating.
