A man from Guysborough Co. facing 23 sex-related charges has had a trial date set.

Police say their investigation involving Kevin Craig Hart, 50, of Country Harbour started in May 2020; charges include sexual interference, unlawful confinement, sexual assault, assault, administering a noxious substance, voyeurism and uttering threats.

Hart, who was arrested May 29, 2020, was in Sydney Supreme Court Wednesday; his trial was set for Nov. 29 – Dec. 2, 2022.

A court appearance is set for August 25th for an application for a bail review.

RCMP say the alleged offences, which took place between 1999 and 2018, involve three victims, including two children in their teens.

They say there are additional victims who have yet to come forward; they’re asking them to contact police.
