Drivers in Port Hawkesbury will see new all-way stop signs installed at a downtown intersection today.
After receiving recommendations from a public consultation process and professional traffic engineers, the town is installing the new signs at the intersection of MacSween and Granville streets.
The town of Port Hawkesbury has issued a public notice stating, “enforcement of the all-way stop will commence immediately upon installation.”
There will be temporary signs up warning drivers of the changes, which are meant to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians.
