SRCE Director says safety is priority in return to school

The Executive Director of the Strait Regional Centre for Education said your kids will be safe at school.

Paul Landry tells The Hawk there is a plan in place to protect students from COVID-19.

“Of course, our priority is to ensure the safe return of our students and staff to in class learning,” he said.

Landry said core Public Health measures, including handwashing, extra cleaning, and staying home when sick, will still be in place.

He said they continue the audit of school ventilation systems, and are prepared to transition back to at home learning if directed to do so by Public Health.
