Police continue to investigate an Inverness Co. incident.
Mounties were called to Judique Saturday morning at 8 a.m.
RCMP Public Information Officer Chris Marshall says at first they were investigating it as a collision but it was more than that.
“It has been determined to be a fatal hit-and-run so that’s how it’s being investigated and an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.”
Marshall says no one has been arrested.
“There’s nobody in custody, no ones been charged or anything like that. The investigation is progressing.
The road was closed for over nine hours and RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
